Scotch and Soda Fall Winter 2017

posted on February 7th 2017 in Fashion News with 0 Comments

Creative director Marlou van Engelen infused the Scotch and Soda Fall Winter 2017 collection with a youthful mood that reflected free-spirited references, from folk to bohemian.

The eclectic women’s lineup includes cozy kaftan like tops and dresses worked in vivid tones, striped sweaters, and hippie-ish embroidered tops and vests. Flowers blossomed on relaxed tops, as well as on maxi dresses with soft bows at the neck and on a pair of glamorous wide-leg pants.

Titled “Wondrous Wanderers”, the collection explores worldly treasures. The new seasonnal range tells the story of four everyday legends, who through different ages and places, are bound by the natural inspiration they pose. The story takes place in all corners of the world – from Tibet, to the Scottish Highlands, and from The Silk Route in China to a tiny village, called Floen, in Norway. All pieces in the collection remix the native colours, silhouettes, textures, pattern and finishes of the explored regions in to something wholly new. Scotch & Soda looked to literature, vintage objects, artifacts, and nature, incorporating their finds into the creative process. An old-meets-new Nordic clash, the collection features smart as well as casual pieces. Bright colors, patterns, and graphics juxtapose rich hues and strong details.
