Binny Coming Home Spring Summer 2016

At the end of last year while designing this Binny Coming Home Spring Summer 2016 collection, Designer Belinda Watson also moved back home, after over fifteen years away. She lived overseas, in Melbourne, Sydney and finally after a few other stops in between, like a migrating bird, she came a full circle back to South Australia. Now she is surrounded by rolling hills, the smell of freshly cut hay, grazing sheep, sunsets over the lake and most importantly, her family. And now, with the very newest and oldest members of her family all having cups of tea and gingernut biscuits in the kitchen, there is no better place to be.

This season collection instantly strikes you by how effortlessly gorgeous the range looks, equal parts comfortable and on trend. The clothes could take you from work to the bar or from the school run to a dinner date, with just the smallest change in accessories. The colour range is very much summery with predominantly white (a classic) and various hues of blue. Textures add a beautiful layer with lace trims and broderies (the collection’s highlight!).
